VivreEnsemblePrep started from a simple observation: the exam syllabus is public, yet there is almost no way to practise under real exam conditions.
Our mission
Becoming Luxembourgish means going through a long administrative process, in which the “Vivre ensemble au Grand-Duché de Luxembourg” exam is only one step among many. It is nevertheless a step many candidates approach with anxiety, often because they have no idea what the paper actually looks like.
The official syllabus published by the portal is a list of subjects to prepare, not a textbook. It states what you need to know without saying how to learn it, and no official question bank is published. The result: candidates perfectly capable of passing turn up on exam day having never answered a single timed multiple-choice question.
Our goal is to close exactly that gap. Not to replace the official course, nor to pretend we know the exam questions, but to offer practice that is faithful to the announced format, in five languages, with explanations you can verify.
Three principles

State exactly what the app does
The app contains 60 questions, not thousands. It uses no artificial intelligence. It has no access to the official questions. We would rather say so plainly than line up flattering numbers: a candidate who discovers the gap on exam day is a candidate we served badly.

Make every answer verifiable
Every question is tied to a specific passage of public teaching material, shown after the answer with its page number. You do not have to take our word for it: you can find the source.

Never replace the official source
Dates, locations, languages, available places and registration rules change regularly. The app and this site systematically point to the official portal, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.
Independence and transparency
VivreEnsemblePrep is an independent app published by Julien Kessels. It is not published, approved, endorsed or sponsored by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, the Service de la formation des adultes, or any other organiser of the official exam.
Our questions are written from publicly available teaching material. They are not the questions used in the official paper, and nobody can honestly guarantee knowing those. Any app claiming otherwise is misleading you.
We sell no data and show no advertising. There is no commercial partnership hiding behind our content: nothing you read here is influenced by anyone else.
